When is it that I actually have to grow up??

THURSDAY
Today was spent galianting around. Is that a word? I don't have class 'til 11 so I slept in, went to class (which was like the only responsible thing I did all day). Then Cole and I went to Costco to get new tires on my car. While we were waiting we thought....hey lets go out to eat at Chile's across the parking lot. As we were sitting there eating and having fun I said "ya know, most people are working right now. Us -- we're just hangin' out at Costco, going out to lunch....we are lucky! I wonder when it is that we are actually going to have to grow up, go to work, take care of kids?" We both work for our parents and it has been so great while we go to school. It really takes alot of stress off of our lives. I did have Stake YW's Basketball tonight. Only 3 girls showed up, but it was actually really fun. We played horse, lightning, and 2-on-2. I actually think that I would really like coaching b-ball. Then instead of doing homework or something responsible I watched the new show GLEE on hulu.com and I stayed up so late and that is why I didn't get a blog post yesterday. GLEE was great! It was freakin' hilarious! Well lets get down to business!

MEAL ONE - 9:30 am
Peach Cobbler Protein Shake - frozen peaches, 8 oz. of skim milk, 2 scoops vanilla protein powder, and cinnamon to taste.

MEAL TWO - we didn't eat until 1:45 pm at Chile's!
I got the Southwestern Explosion Salad. It was very good! It had a very yummy, tangy balsamic vinaigrette on it.

MEAL THREE - 3:00 pm
Organic Oiko's Yogurt Plain with white peaches a
nd Flaxseed granola. MMMMM!

HIIT - 7:15 pm
I went to basketball at 6:00 and then right after that I thought I'd hit the road for a little HIIT. At first I thought it was going to be a bad running session cuz my legs were sore from leg day yesterday, but after I got warmed up it felt great. My last sprinting session I ran at a 7:25 minute mile for 2 1/2 minutes. Whoo! Felt good! It wasn't that hot outside, but when I got back I was drenched! It feels so good to sweat. My face gets so red when I run though.

MEAL FOUR - 8:00 pm
Garbonzo beans mixed with cottage cheese and ranch dressing mix. VERY GOOD! I found the idea for this here.
MEAL FIVE - 10:15 pm
Chocolate Strawberry Protein Shake in my Magic Bullet Blender named Manny. I def think this one and the Horchatta shake is my fav.

Well that is how my very unresponsible Thursday went. Oh and by the way. As I'm typing this, I am skipping my World Literature class. I didn't have time to get ready! Come on Cic...grow up! Get your act together! lol.

  1. Hi sis! I didn't know you'd been so diligent on your blog. It's funny when I typed in your address I used "for" instead of "4" and it was a 65 year old ladie's blog.
    Just enjoy not being "grown up". Honestly that first year of being married and in school was so fun and carefree. Just enjoy it and don't feel guilty one second! Unless you're eating ice cream,chips and cookies while watching Housewives of New Jersey. Then maybe you should feel a little guilty. I take it Cole is done with the diet thing. Hang in there. Miss you!
